User Interface
Below you can find samples of User Interface design of iPhone apps.
First one is the Weather App.
It shows a picture of a city selected by user. At the top of the screen there is a name of the selected city, below the actual temperature and icon. The application shows weather for the next four days, there is a possibility to show more options with the button below, such as : next week or another city or maybe even search when it's gonna to be sunny.
Second one is the Photo Editor App.
This application enables user to take a picture then edit it in a creative way. As the picture below shows we have frames, crop, contrast, colour filters and brightness. Well the application can have wide range of possibilities such as double exposure photos. The app can have the portrait mode as well what means it can create good quality portraits with lens blurred background.

User Experience
UX Design Process
For a well-designed user experience, there are a few steps to do.
First we have to do some research which may consist of :
Surveys, user personas, audience identityfying and tracking users needs. Why do we need it? Because we need to identify and understand the needs of target audience. Research can give us a better perspective, and it can verify our assumptions. Research is a very good way to understand that we design for other people, we will know what is the purpose of using the application or service that we are providing. Research will give us a data that we can use to improve our service.
The second thing is the Prototyping.
In that case it can be sketch, wireframe, flow diagram and workflow. All these processes may lead to have a very good basis of our project. We can draw a sketch of our app. Create a wireframe that will show us a preliminary visual concept of an app or website. Wireframes will give us better uderstand how the app or website will work. Wireframes also can give us a perspective of how to distribute space for the UI related things, what things should appear first, how the functions that we are planning will look like, and how the relations between screens will look like. We can also prepare a workflow for app that will show us how users can go throught our app and what steps they can take while using an app.
Next thing is Visual Design.
The task of Visual Design is to improve user experience by using of the images, photography, colour palettes, layouts. That can improve the usability and improve the apperance of the app. Visual design consists of Graphic Design, and UI design, it's focusing on the visual form of the presented app or website. It's related to colours, fonts, properly picked images, and good strategy overall.
Another very important thing is testing.
Testing is a very good way to see how usable is our project for the users. Users are completing tasks, that can give conclusions if they encounter any problems or confusions. In that situations we can compare what was the most problematic for users and then figure out a way to solve that. Testing is a very good method to see if the app or website is well designed for users and is easily usable for them.
